Our Experience & Partners

Continuity, Capability, Commitment

The Tatweer project draws upon seven years’ solid experience in providing firm-level business development services to enhance the competitiveness and success of Jordanian small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) from the Jordan – United States Business Partnership (JUSBP), funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) as part of its foreign assistance program for economic development in Jordan. USAID works with the Jordanian government and businesses to improve their efficiency, increase trade and investments and create more jobs and higher incomes. Funding Tatweer is a vote of confidence in proven business development strategies and a commitment to extending the benefits to even more Jordanians.

JUSBP helped to establish and develop eight private business associations in such strategic sectors as information technology, and export-oriented industries as garments/textiles, furniture, stones and tiles, Dead Sea mineral products and olive oil. A fast track export program empowered SMEs to exploit opportunities of the new Jordan-US Free Trade Agreement.

JUSBP also established and managed, in cooperation with the Industrial Development Directorate in the Ministry of Industry and Trade the King Abdullah II Award for Excellence.
